AE Worldwide strongly encourages the use of LITKIT™ Universal Washing Machine Shipping Stabilization Kit. LITKIT™ provides a single overall less expensive solution that fits and secures all major manufacturers' washing machine drums. This single kit, which is reusable, accommodates all styles of front-load washing machines and top-load models with no or redesigned agitator.

The LITKIT™ simple system of air-inflated bags and card expansion cell restricts side-to-side, forward-back and up-down motion of the washer drum. It can typically be installed in approximately 5 minutes.

The LITKIT is comprised of only 4 parts:

  • An expandable cardboard cellblock (available through AE)
  • Reusable air bags (available through AE)
  • 1/2" inflator tip (available through AE)
  • Air pump (many varieties available)

The easiest, least expensive air pump is the Coleman Dual Action Quickpump™ which is inexpensive and easily available from AE Worldwide. This allows both filling or emptying of the bags for quick re-use. Use of a bicycle pump or portable compressor may require an additional adaptor.
